After drawing massive crowds in cities like New York, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Sydney, internationally acclaimed Australian artist Cj Hendry is finally bringing her larger-than-life installations to Singapore next month with not one, but two colourful experiences at IMBA Theatre.
Taking over the gallery space at Gardens by the Bay, the Southeast Asia premiere of Flower Market will run from 10 to 14 June 2026, before the world premiere of JuJu World opens from 20 June to 18 July 2026.

Known for blending hyperrealistic art with immersive public installations, Hendry has built a global following through experiences that feel playful, surreal and highly shareable all at once.
Transforming IMBA Theatre into an oversized flower stand, the installation will feature tens of thousands of plush flowers spread across more than 30 different varieties. Visitors are encouraged to walk through the space like a real flower market, selecting stems and building their own bouquets along the way.

For the Singapore edition, several flower designs have also been created exclusively for the launch, including the Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower, alongside the Raffles’ Pitcher Plant and the Singapore Ginger Flower.
Even better, every visitor gets to take home their first flower for free.
While Flower Market leans softer and dreamier visually, JuJu World moves fully into inflatable fantasy territory.
Opening later in June, the experience is built around Hendry’s JuJu collectible series and marks the world’s first inflatable installation dedicated entirely to the characters. Singapore will also become the first city to receive the JuJu experience in yellow, with exclusive oversized JuJus created specially for the local presentation.

Once the experience closes on 18 July 2026, the Singapore-exclusive pieces will not be reproduced again elsewhere.
Part of what makes Cj Hendry’s installations resonate so strongly online is how accessible they feel. The works are immersive without feeling intimidating, balancing large-scale spectacle with a sense of playfulness that appeals across different age groups and audiences.
Whether visitors arrive for the surreal flower displays, the giant inflatable JuJus or simply the chance to step into one of Hendry’s highly photographed worlds, both installations are easily set to become some of Singapore’s most visually talked-about art experiences this season.
Flower Market runs from 10 to 14 June 2026 with free admission, while JuJu World opens from 20 June to 18 July 2026 at IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay. More information is available via IMBA Theatre.
